This Donation Policy outlines how we manage donations, ensure transparency, and use your funds responsibly.
1. Purpose of Donations
Donations made to Shalom Education and Charitable Society directly support our charitable programs and initiatives, which include:
- Child education, health, and nutrition
- Women empowerment and social inclusion
- Disaster relief and humanitarian aid
- Community development and skill training
- Health awareness and medical support programs
All donations are utilized strictly for the purpose of promoting the society’s objectives as per its constitution and legal framework.
2. Donation Methods
You can contribute to our cause through multiple safe and secure methods:
- Online payment (via UPI, debit/credit card, or bank transfer)
- Offline donation through cheque, demand draft, or bank deposit
- In-kind donations such as books, food, or medical supplies

3. Donation Receipts
- All donors will receive an acknowledgment receipt via email or SMS upon successful payment.
- Donors are requested to provide their full name, contact number, and email address to ensure proper documentation.
- Receipts issued by Shalom Education and Charitable Society serve as official proof of donation.
4. Tax Exemption
Eligible donations may qualify for tax benefits under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, as per the current registration and certification of the Society.
(Note: The donor will receive the 80G certificate via email once the donation is confirmed.)
5. Refund and Cancellation Policy
- Donations once made cannot be refunded or canceled, as they are immediately used for charitable purposes.
- In case of a duplicate transaction or technical error, donors may contact us within 7 working days with valid proof, and the matter will be reviewed by the finance team.
- The final decision on refunds will rest solely with Shalom Education and Charitable Society.
6. Data Privacy
We respect donor privacy and handle all personal and financial information with strict confidentiality. Donor data is never sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties, except when required by law or for legitimate administrative purposes.

- Annual reports and audited financial statements are made available to stakeholders and authorities.
